In Burgundy, terroir is much more than just a topographical notion. As early as the 12th century, the monks of the Abbey of Cîteaux were able to develop a vineyard where geological and climatic conditions were favorable. Their skills weren't confined to winegrowing, however, as they also made - and still make - the delicious Cîteaux Abbey cheese on the plains. During this workshop, you'll discover the perfect marriage between a selection of wines and cheeses from local producers. A journey to the heart of Burgundy, its history and its terroir!
