The Fortress of Talant and its Church
Take a trip back in time as you explore medieval Talant during the era of the Dukes of Burgundy. An impregnable fortress perched on its rocky outcrop, the town of the Capetian dukes and its now-vanished castle played a decisive role in the history of the capital city of Dijon. You will enjoy the remains of the fortifications and the endless landscape that stretches out from this hill, as well as the Church of Notre-Dame, a 13th-century stone gem built by the Capetian Dukes of Burgundy, with stained glass windows created by craftsman Gérard Garouste in the 1980s.
